Where are you located?

Due to the current economic situation we have temporarily close the doors to our walk-in store. We are only accepting online orders.

What makes ASA different from other Airsoft retailers?

We strive to make our customers happy! We offer the lowest prices in the US on about 95% of our inventory. We try to answer all of our online inquiries with in 4 hours during business hours and we treat our customers with respect no matter what your experience level is. We offer the same high quality products that our competition does but we give you a much better shopping experience which is what stands us apart from that competition.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Paypal. We also accept money orders and certified checks. Please make out all checks to J&D Sales.

How do I use paypal?

Go to www.paypal.com and set up an account with them. Once you have a Paypal account you can send your payment to us at sales@airsoftadvantage.com

Do you ship outside of the US?

No. We can only ship with in the US with the acception of Canada. We ship to Canada but are not responsible for any seized merchandise.

Is Airsoft legal in my city?

Airsoft Advantage is not responsible for knowing if Airsoft is legal or not in your city. Please be sure before buying as ASA is not responsible for any seized merchandise.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs very depending on what you order. You can check different shipping methods and costs in the check-out of your shopping cart. For all of 2007 ASA is offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $100. Special WGC orders are eligible for our FREE shipping offer.

*NOTE: All orders eligible for our FREE shipping offer will be sent normal UPS ground or least expensive method available. Next day AND 2ND day air orders have a $5 EXPRESS fee. Free shipping offer is good for all orders up to a total shipping cost of $30.00. This will cover most all orders. Some larger orders may require an additional shipping and handling charge which must be paid before order is shipped. FREE shipping offer does not apply to wholesale orders, orders being shipped to an APO, orders being shipped out of the Continental US, or special phone orders.

How long does it take ASA to ship out my order?

Most orders ship out next day. If an order is placed on Friday it will be shipping on Monday. For Holidays orders will be shipped the next business day.

What do your AEG's come with?

Typically an AEG will come with manual, standard magazine, 100 bbs, loading tube and cleaning rod.

Are the items you sell new or used?

All of our items are sold NEW. We test and inspect all of our items prior to shipping so you may notice finger prints on them. We do have a USED guns section and this is the only area where you will be purchasing used items.

What does ASA do about Trademarks and orange tips?

We follow all US regulations in regards to Trade Marks and orange barrel tips. All of our guns come with orange tips. Most AEG's come with a threaded orange flash hider that can be removed but we recommend leaving it on. We include the original metal flash hider with our AEG's.

Does ASA do gun upgrades and repairs?

We have temporarily closed our repair shop. No guns will be accepted for upgrades or repairs during this time.

Can I reuse bb's after they have been shot?

No! Do not reuse bb's. Once a bb is shot they become out-of-round or dented and can jam inside the barrel of your gun. A jammed bb can cause damage to your gun and can be very costly to repair.

Does ASA sell to other retailers?

Please CONTACT US about orders if you are a retailer.

Does ASA offer any kind discounts?

Currently we are not giving any discounts. Due to the economy, sales are down. Since we do not have the volume of sales we have had in the past we can no longer trickle down that success to our customers.

Military and Law Enforcement - Please CONTACT US and give us your information. We will set up a special 5% discount for your orders.

Airsoft Teams - CONTACT US with all of your team information including: Team Name, member Names (first and last), email addresses, ages, location, and how often you play. We will then enter all of your team players and when they log into our website they will automatically receive a 5% discount. We will also send you our Team Discount Terms.

Film Students - Any film students that need Airsoft merchandise for a project they are working on should CONTACT US. We offer special rental fees that will help keep the cost of your project to a minimum.

Do you accept phone orders?

Only for orders over $1000. If you are planning to place an order that is over $1000 call us at 714-870-8533 and we will work work out a special discount for you.

What is the difference between NiCd and NiMH batteries?

Performance - NiMH batteries will greatly out-perform standard NiCd batteries in high-drain applications.
Voltage - The power produced by the battery. Both NiMH and NiCd have virtually the same voltage.
Capacity (Mah) - The amount of energy stored by the battery. NiMH has more than twice the capacity of standard NiCd. This results in much longer run times.
Memory Effect - NiMH batteries can be charged or “topped-off” at any time without affecting battery life. In order to achieve optimum performance from NiCd batteries, they must be fully discharged before recharging. Unlike NiCd batteries, NiMH has No Memory Effect. ASA recommends discharging your NiCd batteries after every 2-3 charges.
Environmental Friendly - NiMH batteries have no Cadmium added. Cadmium is hazardous to the environment.

What are your store hours?

We are currently only offering online orders.

How come my emails do not go through?

Make sure that your name is not in quotes ("Jon Smith"). Our spam filters will automatically delete any emails from names in quotes.

How does your Advantage Points system work?

Advantage Points from Airsoft Advantage are kind of like frequent flyer miles. You accumulate points to spend on items at a later date. There are many ways to receive Advantage Points. Ordering online, refering other players or teams and even by writing a product review on something you purchased from us. There are different levels of items you can use your points on. You can spend them on small items right away or save them up to use on larger more expensive items. Points will accumulate until you decide to cash them in and there is no expiration date on them. You can view your Advantage Points and items available to spend them on in your Member File and in the shopping cart. If you put an item in your shopping cart that is in the Advantage Points catalog you will have the option to apply your points to that item.

When you refer a customer you will receive the total value of their first order in Advantage Points. Example: You refer Joe...Joe places his first order for $140.00...you will then be awarded 140 points for that referal. Make sure to have the person you refered mention your name in the comments section of the check out.

How do I get my team registered with ASA?

ASA offers many types of discounts. One discount we offer is specifically designed for Airsoft Teams that support ASA. If you play on a team with 5 or more members, have your team leader CONTACT US and we will set up a special discount for every member on your team. Your team members will start out with a 5% discount on all items at ASA and can go as high as 10%. We no longer require a minimum monthly order to keep your team set up with ASA. If your teams spends $5 or $5000 a month with ASA that is OK. For more information and to set up your team, please contact us and we'll email you back with details.

How come when I used your "special order" feature, your prices were higher than WGC prices?

WGC is an Airsoft supplier in Hong Kong. The reason the prices at WGC are lower than the prices of any U.S. based Airsoft store is because they do not have to worry about getting the items to the U.S. When U.S. stores, including ASA, purchase their Airsoft items from over seas they have to raise the prices to account for all the costs it takes to get those Airsoft items into the U.S. The reason we offer our "special order" feature is to save you heavy shipping charges from Hong Kong.

Example: if you purchase an AEG from over seas and their website price is $100.00, plus the average shipping charge on an AEG to the U.S. $45, your total comes to $145.00. That same AEG special ordered from ASA would be $112 (which is the ASA price in the U.S.) plus shipping from us to you of about $12 comes to a total of $124.00 By custom ordering the AEG through ASA you would have saved $21.00. We can do this because we order a lot from these over seas companies and shipping is greatly reduced.

Some false rumors about ASA custom ordering:

1. We are just doing this to make extra money off our customers. Read the example above. Are we really making extra money off our customers? Either way, we SAVED you money, right?

2. We order items that you didn't want. Wrong! That is why we have YOU send US the specific part number. That way we can make sure we ordered EXACTLY what you wanted.

3. Its a scam! How is this a scam? You tell us what you want. We order it for you. You pay for it. We ship it to you.

4. They still charge shipping, its not FREE! Yes, this is true. We charge shipping inside the U.S. ONLY. Shipping from us to you in the U.S. is between $5-13. We never said that shipping was FREE. We said that we do not charge an additional fee to use our custom ordering feature. Actually, orders over $100 do include FREE shipping so yes, we do offer FREE shipping.

Listen, ASA was put together for our customers. We are not out to scam anyone, we are not out to cheat anyone. We thought this service would benefit airsofters that wanted to order items that are hard to find in the U.S. and save them a little money on over seas shipping. If you don't want to use the custom ordering feature we offer, then don't use it. If you have any other specific questions, please contact us and we would be happy to answer them.

What length tight bore barrel do I need to use with my AEG?

There are many different lengths of tight bore barrels you can use for your AEG. You can use a stock length or slightly longer for use with a flash hider or a mock silencer. For general purpose applications you can refer to the chart below to figure what length you need. For custom applications you will need to measure and know what length you want. We can do custom lengths if you need them.
